14/09/2020: Following careful consideration, LINK are pleased to announce that we can now restart face-to-face befriending meetings. We will have additional measures in place to keep everyone safe, including strict guidelines and risk assessments that must be adhered to. These will need to be read and agreed to before resuming any face-to-face meeting. Please speak to your Project Manager/Coordinator if you have any concerns.
28/06/2020: Here are the latest Phase 2 and 3 Indicative Dates from the Scottish Government. LINK's remote befriending currently remains in place. Phase 2 and 3 Indicative Dates
22/06/2020: Scotland has now entered Phase 2 of the Scottish Government's Route-map to bring us out of lockdown. At this time, LINK are still taking advice from Befriending Networks therefore remote befriending is still in place.
11/06/2020: LINK will be following Befriending Networks' guidance as lockdown restrictions ease. We will be taking a cautious approach, believing it is better to move slowly and getting it right. We will keep you up to date with any changes. Until then, remote befriending stays in place.
