About LINK

LINK Fife Mental Health Befriending Projects provide a befriending service for Adults and Young People who have become isolated, lonely and disengaged due to a mental health issue. The aim of befriending is to enhance the quality of the befriendee’s life by supporting their welfare, personal development and capacity for self-determination, through forming a trusting relationship with a befriender.  LINK's adult project also facilitate two Peer Support Groups (St Andrews and Buckhaven)  where people with lived experience can come together to support each other.  Contact us for more information regarding this.

Volunteers provide regular 1-2-1 emotional, social and practical support which positively impacts people’s wellbeing and connectedness, and to encourage them to participate more fully in the life of the community.

LINK is a member of Befriending Networks, Voluntary Health Scotland and Fife Voluntary Action.  We are Volunteer Friendly Award accredited and proud to be a Real Living Wage employer.
